Welcome to the latest edition to our Coldwater Education Association (CEA) newsletter. As the President of the CEA, I am very proud of our electronic newsletter. Within this edition you will view articles of many positive programs, people, and students doing great things in our school district.
Our district, like nearly every other district in the state, is facing tough headwinds. We have a dismal economy in our state, we have people leaving the district searching for jobs, and people face layoffs. All of these situations have an adverse impact of our schools and consequently our students.
However the students and staff of Coldwater Schools are gamers and will fight through of these headwinds. This edition is merely a snapshot of what is happening in Coldwater schools. In future editions we hope to provide you with not a snapshot but a family portrait of what students, teachers, and other staff members are doing to make Coldwater and Coldwater schools a better place.
